Sheep herding workshop

With this activity, you work on strengthening the team spirit within your team or department in an original way.

Wonderfully outdoors in the countryside, far away from the daily work routine, you get to work with the dogs and sheep in an unforgettable way. The participants are actively involved right from the start and during the game, they are respectfully observed and fed back by 2 professional trainers.

The workshop consists of various components in which team spirit is nurtured in an inspiring and humorous way. In addition, if desired, a more serious evaluation can be made afterwards to see what actually went right or wrong in the cooperation. The workshop starts with a short explanation and demonstration, in which you are immediately actively involved. You will learn how to give commands to the Border Collies and how the sheep subsequently react. The demonstration is accompanied by expert commentary telling how the dogs are trained. This will be shown in practice using various dogs of different levels.

After this intriguing demonstration and practice session, it is time to get to work independently with the sheep and the dogs. The shepherds will teach you the tricks of the trade as you go; you will find that cooperation with the dog is essential in this. The aim is to drive the sheep over a challenging course, with or without the help of the dogs.
